I've been off for a bit - reading novels and reflecting on how it is that someone can be so privileged that they feel that having to deal with a dial-up modem is an indignation that they shouldn't be forced to deal with. Jeeeesh. Give it up....be here now, lighten up, get real.
So - lot's to catch up on in the web/pod/net world. Dizzying.

Your right to internet access without dial-up made me think of a google dilemna from a few years back (and still ongoing). This article talks about it in Section II. Discussing people's "right to Google". Turns out Google has taken action on things as small as a snide remark about an actor all the way up to trying to avoid a ban from the Chinese government! Anyway, it's a pretty interesting read.
