Colbert attacked those in the press who claim that the shake-up at the White House was merely re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. "This administration is soaring, not sinking," he said. "If anything, they are re-arranging the deck chairs on the Hindenburg"

I can't believe (1) that they actually let him speak there - I mean I know it's sort of a "roast" but still... and (2) that he actually had the guts to deliver that whole thing!

.....Uncle Tim said.....Colbert was awesome ..he even ridiculed supreme court- Scalia as a liar and the active Military Generals as only supporting Bush so they can safely retire, wiretapping, WMD... it was all there, Bush, evil twin and 'hot' wife will never be back.
